Project Activities


The project activities have been developed in a logical sequence that progress both in acknowledgement of the project timeline and its structure. The sequence is such that specific project activities will produce outputs (deliverables) and clusters of outputs will lead to the expected results (milestones). Information flow between activities is also a central consideration whenever the success of the proceeding activity is intrinsically dependent on the outputs from the preceding activity.

Many of the activities will be performed with the involvement of a large number of key actors (SMEs, IEMs and other stakeholders). The initial outreach of the project activities involving these organisations will include at least 500 SMEs from the manufacturing sector in Pakistan. This large group will be composed of 10 clusters containing a minimum of 50 SMEs, coordinated by a single cluster manager. The specific involvement of these clusters will be described in the relevant activity description and an overview of the participatory structure is shown in the following figure
